Thirteen students from Barrhead Composite and R. F. Staples competed at the Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association (ASAA) Provincial Track and Field Championships in Calgary on June 7th and 8th.

Congratulations to the students who won medals:

• Hannah Tuininga, BCHS — Gold in Intermediate Triple Jump; Silver in Intermediate Long Jump
• Sierra Lemp, BCHS — Silver in Intermediate High Jump

Also a shout out to the BCHS girls team who placed third out of 42 teams in the 3A division.
