Citizenship Award Winner – Kennedy Coutts

June 18th, 2019

Kennedy Coutts is a Grade 6 student at Neerlandia Public Christian School. She was nominated for the Citizenship Award by teacher Lise Wruk, who describes Kennedy as kind and hard working. Kennedy is considerate of other people’s needs, often putting aside her own needs and wants. She assists others with classroom chores, is willing to share supplies or materials, and makes sure that everyone in her class has someone to play with.

She also demonstrates responsibility with a gentle determination to always do her best. Her positive attitude shines through in everything she does. When someone is upset, she is there with comforting words and a contagious smile.

The school board is pleased to present Kennedy with the Citizenship Award for recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community. Congratulations!
