Kerry McElroy

Growing up, I was the oldest in a family of five boys whose family moved communities every few years. I married my lovely wife Susan in 1972 while attending the University of Alberta. My teaching career spanned 35 years and eight different schools. We have two adult children; Jason (married to Carrie) who lives and works in the Barrhead community and Jody (married to Warren) is a teacher in Leduc. Each family has given us two lively grandchildren of which two attend Pembina Hills Schools. Currently I serve on the Barrhead Fire Services Committee, Misty Ski Hill Board, Lac St Anne Subdivision Appeal Board and the Alberta School Attendance Review Council.

“I have a working knowledge of different community needs and the unique demands of different nationalities. I look forward to serving the students and parents of the Pembina Hills School Board.”
