Citizenship Award Winner—Elle Seatter

February 26th, 2020

Elle Seatter is a Grade 9 student at Pembina North Community School. She was nominated for the Citizenship Award by Administrative Assistant Jan Borst and Success Coach Donna Ward.

Elle is known for her positive attitude towards school and life in general. She sees the good in people and situations. When helping to referee elementary sports Elle encourages all the players, pitching in to help run warm-up drills, offering words of positive advice, and applauding the efforts of the younger players. She never puts others down, and always seeks to lift them up. Elle is a very conscientious student—she demonstrates responsibility by always doing her best to stay on top of her classes and extracurricular activities. As an accomplished musician, Elle also demonstrates leadership as she is sometimes called upon to conduct the PNCS band.

Elle is also known for helping and supporting others, both in her grade and the other junior high grades. She has many talents in fine arts and she is always willing to offer support, ideas and encouragement to her peers when they are working on projects. Her nominators say, “Elle’s ability to show kindness to others is an intrinsic part of who she is. She has a heart of empathy and compassion, and never takes part in exclusive or bullying behaviour. Elle is a friendly face in the PNCS hallways, and always greets others with a genuine smile.”

The school board is pleased to present Elle with the Citizenship Award for recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community. Congratulations!
