If minister of education approves, school board will give grounds around former W.R. Frose School to local community group
If the minister of education agrees, the PHPS school board will give the grounds around the former W.R. Frose School in Fawcett to the PACO (Progressive and Coordinating Organization) Agricultural Society.

Barrhead Composite High School and Westlock Elementary School top school board construction wish-list
Each year, school boards submit their wish-list of building improvements to the provincial government. This year, the PHPS school board is asking for:
$33.92 M to renovate and right-size Barrhead Composite High School
$8.8 M to modernize École Westlock Elementary School

Board considers effect of govt. proposal to reduce school fees
The school board reviewed a summary of the effect the govt. proposal to reduce school fees could have on parents and the school division. The school board also reviewed the division’s Administrative Procedure regarding school fees.

The next school board meeting is on Wednesday, March 22 at the Regional Office in Barrhead starting at 9:30 a.m. The public is welcome to attend.
